What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to make us delete it.

Who we are

Kojo Growth (“we”, “us”) runs kojogrowth.com. Kojo Growth is a marketing agency for local service businesses, based in Metro Detroit, Michigan, United States. You can reach us at info@kojogrowth.com.

What we collect

What you send us. When you request a free audit, the form asks for your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name, website, trade and city, the things you tell us aren’t working (the options you pick), and an optional note. We also record which page of our site you sent it from. If you email us instead, we receive what you write. We use all of it to prepare your audit and to reply to you.

What happens when you press Send. Your request is saved in our database, it is emailed to our inbox, and we send you a short confirmation email so you know it arrived. To limit repeat submissions from one connection, we keep your IP address with a count of how many times the form was sent from it in the current hour. That counter is deleted when the next form submission from anyone is processed, which removes every counter older than the previous hour; it is not used for anything else.

What the site records on its own. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and when) to run the site and keep it secure. The site runs no analytics and no advertising tags, and sets no tracking cookies.

What we look up about your business. To prepare an audit we read public information: your Google Business Profile, your website, public reviews and search data from third-party providers. We do not access any private account of yours unless you give us that access later in writing.

Why we use it

  • To prepare and send the audit you asked for.
  • To answer your questions and, if you want, to send you a written plan.
  • To run, protect and improve the website.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list because you requested an audit.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to operate, and each one sees only what it needs to do its job:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, keeps the server logs and runs the database that stores audit requests and the submission counter.
  • Resend sends the form emails: the copy to us and the confirmation to you.
  • Google Workspace runs our inbox, info@kojogrowth.com, where your request and any reply live.
  • Search-data providers give us search and map data about your business and your area. They receive your business name, website and location, not your personal details.

We don’t share your details with other businesses for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

If you request an audit and don’t become a client, we keep your request for up to 24 months and then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time by emailing info@kojogrowth.com. If you become a client, what we keep and for how long is set out in your client agreement.

Your choices

Email info@kojogrowth.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We’ll do it unless the law requires us to keep something, and we’ll tell you if so.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies for tracking and runs no analytics. It is our policy that any tool we add later that records visitors or sets cookies will be named on this page, with what it records and a way to say no, before it is switched on.

Children

The site and our services are for businesses, not for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top and, for anything that matters, say what changed.

The free audit

See where you stand. Then decide.

Tell us your business name or website and the main city you serve. We'll look at what's working and what isn't, and send you the three fixes that matter first.

Free, with no obligation.

  • Your Google Maps ranking across town
  • Your reviews against the top three
  • Your website on a phone
  • Who you're up against
  • How many people search for what you do
  • The three fixes that matter first
